Metering
The solution manages measurement starting from input reading up to the processing of measurement information, making it available to the billing module and also to third-party systems with different levels of granularity, insight and aggregation.
The solution covers both metering (acquisition, validation, rejections, etc.) and pre-billing (consumption calculation, estimates, aggregations) processes.
Depending on the technologies available and on the specific business context, readings can be acquired from various sources such as AMR, distributors, SII, CRM, etc. Through configurable functions, the system allows readings management so that they can be acquired, validated, extrapolated, interpolated, estimated and transformed into energy consumption data for the billing module.
This module also provides advanced management tools for rejected meter reading values providing the user with both automatic recovery processes, depending on how variable surrounding conditions are, and with management of procedures carried out by back-office staff.
Billing
Core module for calculating all invoice components. Starting from the acquisition of measurement data, the system allows you to configure calculation algorithms in relation to national regulations and customer needs.
A clear and detailed Calculation Log allows you to check individual micro calculations and to intermediate results at any time, enabling the creation of the invoice and all related details.
The result of the calculation, together with the functional details, is sent to the accounting system to issue the invoice and feed information into analytical accounting. The system is able to independently produce and send the invoice and offers processes and functions for the management of:
- calculation and billing- both simulated and effective, punctual or according to billing cycles
- invoicing for VAT and excise duties
- production of electronic invoicing.
Credit
The system supports the credit management process from the moment the invoice is issued up to its collection.
It deals with the main processes in the credit field, from the management of dunning procedures, to the definition of instalment plans, from the calculation of default interest and of security deposit, including the complete management of arrears payments (incoming and outgoing) and the management of relationships with debt collection agencies.
